Dr. Johnson is an Associate Professor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Science in San Marcos, California where she teaches clinical neuroscience and in the neuromuscular course series in the entry-level physical and occupational therapy curricula in both the resident and FLEX programs. She is a Neurologic Certified Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapist Specialists and is also certified in vestibular rehabilitation. Her clinical career has focused on management of adults post stroke, traumatic brain injury, and vestibular dysfunction. Her research interests involve knowledge translation of interprofessional pain curricula and with the application of outcomes measures in clinical practice. Dr. Johnson is currently serving as Co-Chair of the APTA’s Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy’s regional education committee and is part of the IV STEP post dissemination education team.
