Dr. Agrawal received his Ph.D. from the University of Miami. Prior to joining USAHS, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Therapy, University of Miami with a secondary appointment at the Miami VA Medical Center.
Dr. Agrawal is passionate about amputee rehabilitation and has spent more than 15 years working with individuals with amputations. He has published several articles on prosthetic feet and is among the global experts on prosthetic foot evaluation. His current research is focused on reducing secondary conditions following an amputation, particularly knee osteoarthritis. He is actively involved in providing prosthetic services and education in low income countries. He has served on the editorial board of several journals and is currently a voting member of the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Dr. Agrawal is originally from India and enjoys Indian food and the sport of cricket.
